30th Anniversary dance party!!! (download the flyer)
On September 8th, the Conejo Valley Cloggers held a celebration of 30 years of continuous clog dancing in Thousand Oaks. It was a terrific party, and we were pleased and gratified to see so many friends come in from out of town to share this special day with us!
As is our custom each year, our party featured a potluck lunch, drawings for prizes, the 50/50 Drawing, and plenty of dancing throughout the day, courtesy of our tireless callers, Evy and Kay. Thank you, ladies, it was such fun!
And this year’s party featured a special guest: Julie Morris. Many people in the Southern California know Julie from past SCCA conventions and for her dance choreography. For the first 25 years of our existence, Julie was our teacher, caller, and mentor. And we are happy to say that still, after 30 years, she is our very good friend. We love you, Julie!
