Club Membership

Conejo Valley Cloggers (CVC) is a social club dedicated to the teaching and enjoyment of clog dancing. We are self-funded through membership dues, and membership is open to anyone.

Here’s how it works:

    • Annual membership dues: $15
    • What you get:
      • Name tag.
      • A discount on SCCA membership dues, if you decide to join the SCCA. The current discounted membership is $9.25 per year.
      • Invitation to participate in any of our public performances.
      • The satisfaction of knowing that you are actively supporting and promoting this great dance form!
    • Dues are used to help pay for:
      • Web page and Youtube channel hosting.
      • Occasional print-media advertisements.
      • Audio equipment used by our instructors.
      • Facility rental and insurance for the annual Anniversary Party (when it is held on a week-end, as is usually the case).

FAQs:

    • If I take classes, do I need to join?
Nope! Membership is entirely voluntary and is independent of the CVRPD-sponsored classes.
    • What does my class fee pay for?
The CVRPD collects class fees to pay for facilities, insurance, instructors, and all administrative activities (the same as all the other recreation classes they offer)
    • I am completely new to clog dancing. Can I join anyway?
      Yes, you certainly can!
    • What is the SCCA?
The Southern California Clogging Association serves as “network central” for all the clogging news and events circulating in Southern California. Here is a link to the SCCA web site: https://www.socalcloggers.org/
